The other car has been MIA since it happened. The person has not parked in their assigned parking space, or in any of the vistors' spots. The parking spot has been empty since then. I'm still on the lookout...
As for my car, I've been in and out of town and haven't had a chance to take it to a detailer first. I'm keeping hope alive that I don't need to take it to a body shop. *fingers crossed*

Maybe the above guide might help you out. Otherwise, I'd look for a reputable bodyshop--you're probably looking at 300-500 for the repair. Angieslist.com is a great resource to find good contractors/vendors/etc for your area. It has been for me.

Not sure if it is fixed or not - to truly make the paint flawless, you will have to get it repainted. You can always try and use a paint pen, but those never come out 100%. You can get close if you are good at it, but it takes time and some experience.
