I think something hit it since you have 2 chips on the same vertical line on the bumper. Maybe someone hit you on parallel parking.

I got a chip beneath my spoiler... it happens, a rock/debris can be shot frontward by a car behind you and hit you like a homing missle.

It seems pretty clear to me that you hit something or something hit you. Notice how the 2 scratches are in line with one another vertically on the parts of the car that stick out the most? Contact was made with a narrow vertical object.

Best to just get the bumper repainted.
