The best brand is Phillips Ultinons, but they are quite expensive.

I have the Philips Ultinons 6000k. They look fantastic on the road, with just the right amount of white/blue. I don't know if i can recommend them due to the price though; seeing as how you can get a very comparable set for $90 from HPauto.

I believe the difference in quality was that the Philips were very close to OEM spec and would last a very long time, which is why i went with them.

Heres 1 pic i snapped a while back with the car in the garage. It doesn't depict it very well though. Its freezing outside otherwise id go out and take a better one for you. The fogs thats next to it is PIAA GT-X.

Another one for Lou at Amplified. I have the American Titan 6k HIDs (with the lifetime warranty), And Lou did the 3k fogs for me too. They look great. Very white with a tint of blue.

^I like the 3k hid fog kit a lot. It definitely give great visability in subpar weather. No regrets at all. its very yellow, and i love the contrast between the yellow figs and blueish/white headlights. Its not for everyone, but i like it
