Still not feeling it bro. Looks incomplete and very out of place. It's just LED lights for the sake of more lights. It kind of looks like a Civic mod. I'm really not trying to be an azz, it's just not my taste because it doesn't look classy to me. A fog light or real brake ducting is a much better idea IMO. But then I think those blue lights look whack too so what the hell do I know. Kudos to you for trying something new though.

Ok, so i just finished installing the top half, like I said before, it has to be two pieces which creates voids in the corners. The top right LED position isnt bright enough for some reason. I say the "position" because I put two differnt LEDs in there to see whats the problem. I think it's because the "notches" aren't deep enough.

The last picture is a true brightness, it seems the camera makes the halos brighter than they actually are!

your thoughts...

Yeah i like the classy clean look too, and like I said this is somthing i'm trying. I might turn to the fog light addition. I get a lot of **** from finangle69 for the blue lights too, but everyone puts hyper white as the city light, so I wanted to be differnt. At least its not pink...not mentioning any names.

I love "getting into the season" of things, but I really don't understand people's fascination with making our cars into Christmas trees with all these light mods...

I guess to do something creative with something easy? I'm going to ditch the idea and put fog lights there, because that is a practical light unless of course you go hyper white or something.

On a completely unrelated note that has nothing to do with this thread, does anyone want to buy light bars that go in your fake break vent?...anyone?

I could hit two birds if I create a mesh brake vent and put the fog light in the middle allowing air to go past it, but our cars dont really need a functional break vent, right?

If you put it that way, I don't think there's anything that our cars really "need".

It's ok to mod your car into whatever you want, it is your car to mod, not other people's.

And you're telling me, the guy with probably the most LEDs. hahah.

It's not really my taste either, but I could see how other people would like it. But at least you have some installed pictures posted, so you're ahead of Danny with his Arc Reactor. If good things come to those who wait, those installed pics of the Arc Reactor should be downright orgasmic!!
