Maybe it's the fact that it is only done on one side. I think it might look better once you get both sides done. Also in the first pic with the blue parking LED the colors dont match up, but in the other pics with the headlights on it looked somewhat better.

moar pix nao!

Looks interesting, can't really tell much from the lighting though. But from the looks of it, I'm not sure if it flows with the lines of the car, if that makes sense.

My personal opinion is that any after market LEDs added to the car should be contained in the headlight in order to not seem out of place or disrupt the original design

What I'm trying to say is, I like your idea of the Ironman 2.0 better, haha.

I'd have to see it at different angles. The idea is cool.. but execution is difficult on this car i think.

I think the LED fogs on the bottom of the bumper would flow nice, maybe the curve is too much for the car and I should do a straight horizontal line of forward facing high intensity LEDS on the top part of the brake vent.

Ironman 2.0 is going to cost a lot of money, but if it will impress this crowd then its worth it!

Updated pictures...

As if your words have spoken directly to my car, the light has shorted out. Unfortunatly while i stuck it in there for display, I drove around with the wires uncovered and I am guessing I blew a fuse.

Oh well, here are the pics

What would you think of instead of having the bar on the bottom up to the middle of the car, to have the bar on the top go to the outside of the car, i.e. a complete reverse of the existing design both horizontally and vertically

Cool, I'd like to see it around the perimeter of the entire vent.

Cool, want to make it for me It's near impossible to have a single strip of light as it bends backwards and light doesnt curve to well. so I would need two of these L shape strips which may cause voids where the LEDs are...

oh the complications of modding!

Since the windshield wiper resevoir is behind the passenger side, i cant get to it without taking the bumper off, so it will be sometime next week until I can get help with that job. I am starting to really consider high intensity LED pointing forward instead of the light bar...

Haha, I'm busying doing the you-know-what. Maybe I'll give it a shot once it dies down a little. I want to see your Ironman 2.0, damn it!

Are you using CCFL? I like that fact that it's uniform lighting, not individual LEDs.

There are two LED's on either end of the plastic rod, with notches cut in the back and alumium foil tap at the back as well.

I heated the rod to form the shape and attached the LEDs to either end, it's not CCFL.

Oh very nice. So you're using the rod as a wave guide. I had an idea similar to yours with part of the headlight but not nearly as clean. Good job.
