I figured I would have better luck this way, I apologize. But does anyone know if there is a fuse that controls the light?

 

I would guess, (and its just a guess) but you MAY need a diode similar to the airbag delete, to trick to light....

 

I have thought about that as well but there is no such diode that exists for the circumstances and I am not crafty enough to rig up something of my own. The only solutions I can think of are pulling a fuse like I said, or removing the actual bulb form the back of the Instrument Panel (Which I don't want to do).
