hey i just recieved my front sport bumper today from infiniti so i ask them where to they recommend and they show me two places that they do business with and i called them they both quote me 1100 dollar for ivory pearl. I have leave my car there for them to try to match it and put it on for me. I was just wondering is this price worth it or is it just right. I dont want to waste my money if it should be this much. Its to paint the whole front g37s bumper.
Dam... Expensive as hell IMO... I've heard of dudes getting their bumpers painted for about $700...
yeah im trying to see if this price is right or if its too high, i mean infiniti told me they do business with these guy all the time so they are the best bet if i want quality and paintmatch right.
you think any shop would be able to do it? im just worry about the paint match like everyone said its kind of hard to match but infiniti told me any paint shop can do it reall it just Cavin(a place in baton rouge) does it the best because they run all there business through them.
haha the price with me is fine especially if they do business for infiniti its just that im suppose to be ordering my rims next thursday so i will need the money for that first but then i want order my rims first too. I will probably order my rims next week then set a appointment at this place and go ahead and get it painted they said i would be without car for a week too for them to try to keep mixing the paint to get it right so i guess they do try to match it exactly.
damn do i have to buy the bottom grill too? cause i have a journey so i dont have the 3 slot bottom with grill so how im suppose to grill the bottom up!
wow, i was quoted less than 400 to repaint my front bumper
maybe they just like me
haha well i dont know i called in and ask and they said 1100. One my friend says he know someone who own a car shop that would do it for like 300 dollar since im a friend but i dont know if i should do it cause i dont know if he would be able to match it good. Should i try him?
Paint matching the IP is super tough from what i've heard... They better get the color match dead nuts if you're payin that much dinero..
I had a pearl white Acura that needed body work and the guy told me that white is the toughest color to match. Not sure if that's true, but I would pay the right price to get it done correctly or you will be kicking yourself for a long time.....
