Problem with Adaptive Front lighting System (AFS)

So the other day I was parked next in a garage and facing a wall, and I wanted to test the adaptive front lighting system, i saw that the right headlight worked, but the left headlight did not respond. I turned both directions, tried this many times, and saw results from the right headlight but not the left (drivers side). Is something wrong with my AFS?

It's my understanding that you need to moving at ovver 15MPH for both lights to turn.
Under 15 MPH and only one head light turns.

It won't turn left because drivers coming towards you are on the left. It only turns right so you don't blind the traffic coming towards you. It is like someone not turning off their brights. If it turns to the left at all it only does it by a minut amount but from what I remember reading IT DOESN'T TURN TO THE LEFT.

Yes, you have to be moving for the left one to turn to the right.

Everyone is correct. Also, the left does not turn outward very much at all - only a few degrees or else it would blind oncoming traffic coming around a curve. It does turn more to the right when you are moving than it does to the left.

your owners manual will confirm that this is true. +15mph for left to move. Right will move even even when your car is parked.

Adaptive headlight will only work on one side up to 15 mph.

only after you get to 25-35 mph range will they both work.

Already had asked dealer, last service visit.
