Soft *&%$ Paint

Soft *&%$ Paint
Wow, just came back from the dealership and every G I approached already had fingernail scratches around the doors. The interior was still covered in plastic (no test drives yet) and many that I saw had many, many scratches. Very disappointed with Infiniti with regards to their paint quality.
You guys were not kidding when you were complaining about the soft paint. It's unreal how many I saw. Especially the black vehicles... scratches were easily seen.
I hope the 2009 comes out with the new paint that the EX currently carries (self healing).

Exactly, I wouldn't look at dealerships to be the #1 authority on detailing or taking care of car exteriors. I think most members here can agree that although we do have some scratches most of us take care of our paint a lot better than a dealership would and thus don't have anywhere near the scratched exterior you saw. OB is always an exception as any black car will show dirt and scratches much more than any other color.
