Those With Tint

Anyone have any "scratch" issues? Sometimes the tint can get these scratch lines from being rolled up and down. I know my mom's 03 Accord has these lines going down the tint. Pretty annoying especially since it's right were the side mirror is which makes it hard to look out.

My cousin has an 06 TL and he read that other TLs were having the same issues. They mentioned something about getting felt installed inside the window area so that it doesn't get scratched.

This will be the first modification I do to my car but would like to know if I should invest in the felt as well. Thanks!

nope, haven't had any problems with my tints. However, make sure you go to a quality tint shop, that offers one year warranty.

No problems here. My 2000 Accord doesn't have scratches, but it does make some lines on the tint when the car is dirty. I just wipe it off when it appears.

Has anyone found that after installing the tints the windows squeak like crazy when rolled up/down when wet?

Hmmm looks like no one's got any problems. I'll probably be getting the tints done at this shop up by Irvine area. They supposed to be pretty good. I'll let everyone know how it goes when I get them done.

Most places have lifetime warranties and Irvine is not that far away. Thanks guys. I'll be getting Limo for the rear window and 20% for the other 4 windows.
