Rear Wheel Factory Mud Flaps

My G37 without mud flaps had small plastic flaps under the body in front of the rear wheels. One of them started hanging a little bit and when I took it to the dealer for another item it came back with both of them removed.

Just wondering if others have these on their G37's and if I should worry that I don't have them now?

mine has them, they're like mini splash guards under the car... i think 3 bolts on each side hold them on... can't remember what all they covered.. but i'd take it back and tell them to put them back on

They removed them? Hell yea you had better go back to the dealership and demand that they be replaced. You say they were hanging a little bit. What do you mean by that?

The passenger side one was hanging down about half an inch.

demand that they put them back on your car.

i actually just ordered one of these from my dealer. ran over a part of a bumper on the freeway and one of the mud flaps got ripped. i also lost the plastic mounting clip. it's about $17 for the mud flap and the bolts.

Can someone post a picture of what it is you describe??? I think many of us would be interested. I wonder, however, if this is something that is removed when/if your car has factory splash/mudguards included with the sport packages.

the only thing i think you may be talking about would be the two rear pieces of the aero package. i know thats where they were on the g35, but i'm not sure about the 37.

Yeah - thanks for the pics... they are on mine as well, but certainly don't look like something that is designed to last... ;-)

those are not mudflaps...known to all those on this board as splashguards. anyway, those are neither. they look like an underbody protector for shipping or transport. they probably should have been removed during dealer prep.

if you check the service manual, those are actually "wind deflectors". it's rubber not plastic.

Does anyone know the part numbers for these little rubber wind deflectors? On my car, it looks like the little plastic screw that holds it in has worn out, which caused the deflector to come loose.

Dang, noticed mine is dangling too! anyone find that part number of that screw? I cant find the part number or even a mention of this mud flap/splashguard/wind deflector/shipping protector in the manual.
It just sucks seeing it dangling lol.
