Does anyone else find that the seatbelts rattle alot when driving if not worn ? i.e. if no one is in the passenger side ? Has anyone done anything to combat the noise>

 

Yeah, I have rattling too..I usually push the extender back in and that gets rid of the problem

 

the seatbelts were rattling in the backseats yesterday. I tucked them into the side of the seat... no more noise

 

Same here. I just pulled the extender up, problem solved.

^^me too. Seems like rattling seatbelts have been an issue in just about every car I have owned since they started mounting shoulder harness on the pillar.

Never rattled in my G35.. I guess the extenders are a little less tight maybe to ease putting them up and down and this is causing the rattle. Might see a TSB down the road..

 

Same here with the rattiling.
Happened in my G35 Sedan, and now in G37.

As mentioned earlier, just move the extender up....That should fix it.

 

The extenders are tight, it's just that they put the buckel within a half inch from the side panel if you push them back to the right or left of the seat. I just move the extender up so the buckle rests on the seat... no more rattle.

 

Gotcha! I'm always driving when the noise starts haven't had time to pay attention just slap the lever down and keep on driving.
