Blended materials like hybrid aero or polyurethane have the characterists of being more flexible but void of a lot of originality and complication in design as it is difficult to produce. Much is why we see lots of lip kits in a blended material or the like, especially in OEM design, and many designs very straightforward. A Urethane lip would also be higher priced, so you might need more gold than FRP. Products in FRP not produced in Japan have a horrible reputation of quality... this is not the same material of the majority of products imported from Japan.
Just my two cents!

same thing to an extent. its a form of fiberglass

A fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP) (also Fibre-reinforced polymer) is a composite material comprising a polymer matrix reinforced with fibres. The fibers are usually fiberglass, carbon, or aramid, while the polymer is usually an epoxy, vinylester or polyester thermosetting plastic. FRPs are commonly used in the aerospace, automotive, marine, and construction industries

carbon is usually three times more and doesnt mean better fitment. will just be lighter, my mugen SS bumper for my AP1 was full CF fitment was near perfect but was super light. its was 3k. but i had FRP pieces that were a lot less but were 100% spot on with fitment.

Your arguement threads have been moved to https://www.myg37.com/forums/body-interior-exterior-lighting/180538-which-is-better-fiberglass-or-polyurethane.html. If you all can keep it clean then the thread will not be deleted. I thought this would be better than closing this thread. Try to keep this thread clean!
