For those with Superbrightleds Installed...

Typically I keep my interior overhead lights off. But tonight I noticed something interesting.

I have the 5's installed in the overhead lights (for those who have them, you know what I mean). While parked at my office tonight I clicked the button to turn the overhead lights on......... when I was finished instead of turning them completely off I turned them to the "door" position (only come on when the doors open)

and something interesting happened.....

I noticed that they really didn't go all the way out. They were faintly dim. So I then clicked them to the off position. The faintly dimmed light went away.

Anyone else who has superbrights installed in their overhead lights can you check to see if yours do the same. Click them on, wait a few seconds, click them to door and see if they stay on and then click them to off and see if you notice anything....

Mine does that. I really dont know why. I put blue LED's in my car so it gives off this cool blue glow. I like it. If I get tired of it I just flip the switch to the off position and it goes away...

Mine does this but I thought it had to do with the ambient lighting. Not sure though. If someone has a picture of the ambient light setup, please post.

Mine too. I was thinking that a little voltage was trickled through the circuit to detect burned out bulbs. ??? I like it though.

You know I had the same LEDS in my Pontiac G6. Did the same. After a few weeks of having 2 white ones in my license plate, a few eventually burned out and I almost received a fix-it ticket. He said they were blue but I didn't argue.

your courtesy lights remain on too if you have leds in them. look down at them while your door's closed in low light... they're on.

My buddys G35 does that. In my G37 it doesn't. We both have the same exact thing.
