I have 2 LEDs that I don't need. They're 921-x12 in cool white from SuperBrightLEDs. Just a little too bright for me. Free for the asking. PM me. First request gets them.

*Update - spoken for*

Never saw an update regarding this so I'm guessing no issues?

I'm trying to decide between the 5 and 12 LED in the map lights...anyone who installed the 5 LED in the map lights, are they brighter than the stock lights or to get brighter will I have to go with the 12 LED?

I used 12s in the maps and 5s in the doors and plate. very happy with results. The 12s for the maps are clos to stock as far as brightness.

Finished this mod and very happy with the results. Cool white12s in the domes, blue 5s in the doors, cool white 5s in the plates and wled-whp white in the trunk.
Doors, domes and plates were really easy for me but I had a lot of trouble with the trunk!!! Everyone said that was the easiest but not for me...knew I had to be missing something so called my Fiance' out, who has no mechanical experience whatsoever, gave her no instruction, just told her to take the cover off. She did it on the first try so not sure what I was missing!!!

Anyway, looks great and love the new look.

Vanity Mirrors are a pain to get right. I got the passenger side to snap in perfectly with some sanding of some of the plugs. The Driver side, I give up. The center of it bulges out slightly and isn't flush on the mirror. I might of sanded too much of the center plugs.
There is some trick to it, maybe someone will figure it out.

Here is what I used for the rest
Trunk (Darn dome lid doesn't close, just a tad too long frr)
Quantity: 1
Product: WLED-xHP9-T Wedge Base Bulb $ 12.95 (each)
Options: White WLED-WHP9

(Door lights, Blue looks pretty cool)
Quantity: 2
Product: 921-x12 Wedge Base LED bulb $ 3.95 (each)
Options: Blue 921-B12 1.00

(Map Lights)
Quantity: 2
Product: 921-x12 Wedge Base LED bulb $ 3.95 (each)
Options: Cool White 921-CW12 2.00

(Plate Lights, didn't want them too bright)
Quantity: 2
Product: WLED-x6 LED bulb $ 2.79 (each)
Options: Cool White WLED-CW6 0.95

hey guys,
Just letting you know you can get 10% off at www.v-leds.com just google search "v-leds coupon". there are a few different forums that have deals with them. I won't list them because I don't want to support another site and you can do it yourself. If you can't find exactly what you want at superbrightleds.com. Basically the shipping was free with my discount. I can't wait to get these!

Here's my setup:

Maps/Domes - WLED-x5 LED Wide Angle LED (wanted to go wide angle -for light scatter- and not too bright here -didnt wanna blind myself)

Doors - 921-x12 Wedge Base LED (these are blue, and definitely the most striking. Had em for one day and 3 ppl already commented how hot they look)

Trunk - WLED-WHP (the best brightness/size/light scatter for your buck)

License Plate - WLED-x4 LED (went with a 4 because I didnt wanna get too bright here for obvious reasons...)

Reverse lights - WLED-WHP (yup, you read right, theyre perfect back there)

All in all, if not for the reverse lights, the whole process would have taken me about 20-25 mins... but i got stuck on the reverse lights for a little while because I was afraid to YANK them out, but eventually I got it.

I MIGHT change the domes to blue also, but I dont wanna cross the fine line between "nice" to "rice..."

Couldnt take pics last night, but will tonight... stay tuned!
For the trunk and reverse light which WLED-WHP bulbs you used?

hey i just wanted to confirm these LEDs specs and the instructions to replace them will work on the new 09 g37x awd coupe

and for canadians where is the best place to get them(currently looking at superbrightleds.com)

i am curently confused with their website
now for the doors i should get 2 right, one for each side
for the map lights i should also get 2, one for each
truck i need 1
and license i need 1

i am also confused as to which one to buy is it the one labelled as WLED-x5 LED Wide Angle LED bulb or 3022-x4 LED Festoon bulb

Which one is the right one for the 09 g37 coupe

srry fo all the noob questions i read the entire thread but lost on the page

This is what my cart looks like right now

Quantity Product Price Options
2 WLED-x5 LED Wide Angle LED bulb $ 2.99 Red WLED-R5 (FOR MAPS)
2 921-x12 Wedge Base LED bulb $ 3.95 Red 921-R12 (FOR DOORS)
1 WLED-x4-90 Degree LED bulb $ 1.59 White WLED-W4-90 1.00 (FOR LICENSE)
1 WLED-WHP6-D Wedge Base Bulb $ 11.95 Cool White WLED-CWHP6-D (FOR TRUCK)

The setup that I wanted was similar to that of someone previously posted which was

Doors: 921-x12 Red

Maps/Domes: WLED-x5 LED Red

Trunk: WLED-WHP Cool White

License Plate: WLED-x4 LED Cool White

IS THIS THE PROPER PRODUCTS THAT I SHOULD ORDER FOR MY 09 G37 COUPE

I want to order these asap so any help is appreciated. Don't want to order the wrong things. Thanks
