Did you have any issues with the bulbs you selected? Like did you have to leave the cover off the trunk light or did any of them not fit real snug? Loose bulbs? Hard to pull offs? Anything of that nature?
For me everything fits perfectly, no problems. For the trunk if you want the cover to close USE the 6 LEDS not the 12 LEDS.
This is what I did.
5 LEDS for the doors
5 LEDS for the license plate light
6 LEDS for the trunk light
12 LEDS for the MAP lights
AND my map light turns off completely does not stay on like others have said.
How hard was it to remove and install the reverse lights?
wasn't hard at all for me. I'm not sure how others did it but I just removed the 3 nuts that hold the tail light housing in and popped the bulb out and put the new one in. Total time for all the bulb changes (reverse included) took me less than 30minutes...would have taken less time if I would have figured out the easiest way was to just remove the tail light housing....well that and my wife kept playing with the push button starter!
It fits perfectly, Just becareful when you remove the cover. I used a flate head with electric tape over it.
A better method if you don't want indentations in your plastic from the screwdriver is to use something like a membership card, (any card slightly thicker than a credit card would work), and cover that with a sunglasses/eyeglasses cloth and pop it out with that.
I dont like how my reverse leds are secured with tape. I'll prob replace those with some wled-whp and put the 12s in the maps, just hope they are as bright as the 12s. Thanks for letting us know the whps work perfectly in the reverse lights!
