Somehow I doubt most carthieves would be prying at the keyhole to get in
But seriously, if the IK batt goes dead, how the heck are you guys going to get in your car? It'll be more like "WTF was I thinking??" :P

Probably good for a solid 10 ponies ATW. Did you notice the torque increase? Just ordered it.82646-JL03A is correct part number for Platinum Graphite. The parts guy double checked. Cool.

Looks really easy to pop it off at any time so if my IK went dead i'd pop it of and unlock the car. I,ve got an 03 maxima and the RK is still on its original bat so I don't see this being an everyday issue for me.

This is definitely on my list. Did this same mod on my TL and it was one of my favorites, even if no one else ever noticed it.

One more thing to make valets say 'WTF?!', which is another reason for me to keep the keys. +1 to the OP for figuring out that the passenger side part fits. I was planning on using the left-rear cover from the sedan, which appears to be the same part as well.

Right there with you KDub. I also did the same thing with my TL, and because you use the left-rear cover on the TL for the front I was at first considering the same thing as you with the G about using the left-rear cover from the G sedan.

Rumor has it, Jason has all colors instock except for Amethyst Graphite which is on national backorder. He has "Customer Cared" 10 of them to come in before any other dealer.

If you are a forum member, contact him directly for a better shipped price!

$30 Shipped out side of california
$31.97 shipped in california

He combines shipping as well!

His email again is jmendelson@riversideinfiniti.com

If you have already purchased the item from him on ebay, let him know you are a forum member and he will partially refund you the differance.
