SwirlX on my G37XS

So first thread I'm putting up. I bought my 2011 G37XS last year and it's black, so you know what that means. Whoever owned the car before loved automatic car washes probably because the car is swirled all over.

Anyway, I bought some Meguiar's SwirlX and took a microfiber applicator just to see how much product I needed to put on a particular sized area. I didn't want to take it to the detailer because I don't want them to take too much clear coat off because I don't know how much is really on there.

I did it by hand just to make sure I didn't burn the paint, but now I have a good idea about how much to use, and I'll use a foam attachment on a drill to slowly rub the SwirlX in. I'll be doing it tomorrow hopefully, and I'll update on how it goes. These 2 pictures are with using about 7 dime sized squirts over approximately 9"x9" area. All worked in by hand until it disappeared. (I assume that's when it's all broken down and ineffective)

Any advice or tips will be appreciated. Like I said, I want to protect the clear coat as much as I can. I'll be posting updates tomorrow when I really get down to it.

Sorry no useful advice , as I'm contemplating how to remove them from my car as well. I did buy collinite 845 for after, but guess I'm getting way far ahead of process, good luck and subbed for further info...
Btw that section looks much improved so you are doing it right .

You'll probably need something more abrasive than swirl x. If you like megs products give M105 a try. It won't burn through your clear and neither will swirl x.
