Help Can anyone tell me what these cut wires and connector is next to my obd2 port?

Can anyone tell me what these cut wires and connector is next to my obd2 port?


They seem to be taped with the harness for the obd2 port which is right next to it. The obd2 port works fine btw.

Sorry for the pic quality. Ill provide some more if that would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Is that a cut wire (near the green/ white wire)?

If so, I'd tape that loose wire end. Looks like something aftermarket that was either disconnected or removed.

I would leave it alone. Removing it might create a bevy of problems... sometimes it best to "leave well enough alone."

Yeah the green/white and the black. Everything in the car works fine so yeah youre probably right. Just wanted to confirm it wasnt factory wires lol. By tape it you mean just wrap the ends in electrical tape right? Appreciate your 10˘ man.

A few twists of electrical tape and a zip tie to keep the ends from unraveling and you'll be fine.
