Is there any way to stop this from happening?

Was in the car with a friend and was on the freeway and they weren't able to swap the Bluetooth audio to their phone. Does anyone know how to stop it from getting out?

 

Many of the infotainment settings and functions are grayed out (disabled) while the vehicle is in motion. This is for safety and liability reasons- despite the argument that "the passenger" is accessing the menus. It is what it is, however. The only workaround is a forbidden topic on this forum- again, due to liability and legal concerns- but one exists.

 

Yeah it's weird because there is no reason to do it solo while driving. Always set up my music before I start driving while the car warms up, so it being grayed out doesn't make sense. I understand why it's a forbidden topic because some people just forget lol. Thanks for letting me know 👍🏽
