Hello, I'm trying to replace the stock bose amp. I've have never wired a 4 channel amp before. I want to use the factory wires that runs to the speakers, I don't want to run any speaker wires to them. I'm a bit confused on the connections. I'm going to use the Bose harnesses in the trunk to connect the aftermarket amp. Are these the correct connections I need to make? Do I splice into the harness wires or do I completely sever the mentioned connections from the bose amp? Diagram attached.
Try this cmapny, they have adapter cables for different configurations such as replacing an amp, adding a sub, etc. HOME | OWC Upgrades (owc-upgrades.com)
I have a question about the following setup as I have always wanted to replace the front 10" drivers and tweeters, then also add a small amp, but I could never figure out if doing so would delete the "Sound Stage" function since I'm not sure if that signal processing occurs in the head unit, or Bose amp.

Hello. If you'd like to replace the stock Bose amp, then you can save a lot of time, confusion, and damage to the factory wiring by using an OWC harness adapter.
The adapter to replace the factory amp simply takes the place of the stock amp. It then provides you with all 4 Preamp Signals, a Remote Turn-On Connection, and Speaker Wiring (to utilize the factory wiring already in your car). That's basically everything you need to easily & professionally connect your new amplifier upgrade, except the main 12V power & ground wire required for your new amp. You'll still need to supply that separately, which is fairly easy to do.

Good question.
The interface to add an amplifier to drive the front 10's and tweeters+mids is designed to retain all the audio setting capabilities of your car. The "Sound Stage" or "Driver's Audio Stage" function is primarily processed in the head unit, but the Bose amp does play its' part in processing the center channel. With the setup you mentioned, the Bose amp continues to power center and all the remaining speakers/sub. So, you'd simply be upgrading the front door speakers and giving them some extra clean power with no loss in functionality. It's an easy win.

Thanks for the clarification @OWC . Truth be known, I have an amp/sub and Epicenter today and need to leave the Sound Stage off for those to work properly. However, if I ever sold the car, I wanted to make sure this OEM feature is enabled.
Which OWC harness would I buy to power the set of front (3) door speakers with a two channel amp?
Good question.

Sure thing @socketz67 . I can definitely understand the importance of maintaining OEM features like that.
All the harnesses are named according to the upgrade you'd like to do. So, in your case, you'd purchase the kit to "Amp the Front Speakers".
That would give you instant connections to the front door speakers, a remote turn-on wire, and a 2-channel RCA cable connection all built into one interface. It makes for a really clean setup.
And if you ever decided to sell your car or audio equipment, all you have to do is unplug it.
What sub/amp combo are you running in your car now?
