adding another amp for speakers

Hello guys, as of right now I have a Mono Amp powering my 8 inch subwoofer. I like it but the mids and highs not loud enough. The bass is over powering the speakers and sometime cant barely hear the music. I have a sundown x8 with a jl500/1. Had a friend wired it for me and he spliced the wires by the bose amp using a PAC rca converter. Im thinking about upgrading to an audiocontrol converter. What do i need to add another amp to power my speakers? Its stock speakers right now with the bose system.

Depending on which wires were taped into, you might have to tap into a different spot to the wiring harness.

You may also need new power and ground wiring to feed your new amp.

5 channel amps maybe what you are looking for.
