Hello, I have a similar case to the user above(@Mickael) and the same radio (2009 EU Infiniti G37s) with BOSE, Navi, but the display is not touchable. My idea is to add CarPlay to it, but everyone gives me a negative response (the main obstacle being the radio). The only option is if I can install a radio from a newer model, after 2010, like the one with the red circles in the picture, but the connectors are quite different. Is there a chance and how can it be done?
My unit:
Hey fellas,
Working 70-80 hours a week and finally my car hasvhad enough. Over the last month its been a **** show. First was the smooth serpentine pulley blowing the bearing out. I was working....I'm a medical courier and luckily i hadn't picked up yet..... Next, blew out the bearings of a front cv joint and ripped both boots. No big deal right? I had a spare set of shafts waiting to go on. That's not the screwed up part. Took me forever to get the shaft out and when I went to pull the snap ring out of the cup, it dropped inside....fml
I messed with that a bit and then just moved on to trying to find a new snap ring. Zero, zilch, noone had it and I searched up to a1.5hr radius. Dealer wanted $34, wasnt sure when or if it would even show, hit all of the normal avenues, then it dawned on me to check with driveshaft and cv shaft rebuilders....nope. all they had were stard sizes(nometric) and they were the smooth wire type. They squared edged. If i did get it in it was never ever coming out without destroying the cup. Anyway, ling story short, ordered a metric multi size kit off of Amazon and was on my way. 9 days that took. Finally, Friday, i got back from a 6 hour run, pulled up to the garage door and looked at the temp gauge. It was at that point that i knew the fans were about to kick in. Sure enough i got out and they did. Opened up the garage door and got back into the car. Looked at the gauge again and it was not acting normal. It dropped a little and then jumped to 9oclock, it's never ran that warm. As I sat there watching it, it started getting jumpy and then it happened, it started rising. Not quickly but fast enough for me to know to get it inside. Then I heard it....a muffled splash. Pulled in and looked where I had sat. Opened the hood and saw a little steam from behind the AC compressor. Then it just started spitting. It emptied everything including the reservoir on the floor. So, guessing the waterpump is shot. Threw her up for sale and in the mean time have to figure out what to do. No car no job....This is not a cheap quick repair 😔
Anyhow, I will be out cleaning up the garage before I even think about disassembly - I will pull out all of my newer year equipment and get the plug box out along with the pins , etc. Hopefully I kept the receipt as it had part numbers on it. Hopefully I can help you out 😉

Thanks bro and sorry for all the trouble ur going through, I wound up finding all the connectors that I needed. I just made up my own camera connection cable using the factory wiring from my friends 08 with blown engine. I'll hook up the cable tomorrow and test it. I just couldnt see spending almost $500 for some wiring, but to each his own. I followed the FSM and made up my own patch harness soldered and shrink tubing an all. But all in all the connector part numbers will help someone out that wants to tackle this job. Forgot to mention: 08 Bose W/O NAV.
Hey guys, not sure if this thread has been dusted off. I have a 08 base model sedan and I’ve went ahead and tackled most of the harness and repinned everything to where they need to be, now the only thing left for me is the power, ground, and acc to the display , could anyone give me a hand ??
