Anyone installed one of these remote starts for g37:
This looks great but doesn't seem like it's exactly plug and play. No wiring experience is holding me back.

 

It looks like a rebranded Fortin auto? I have the Fortin starter in my car. it was almost completely plug and play. I think I had to tap only 1 wire on the start button, that's it.

 

Yeah, it looks pretty much just like the Fortin brand just rebranded. I’ve purchased and installed myself about three months ago and I’ll tell you what it took me all day, almost A day and a half, only because I am very meticulous when I do things to my car. Also I’ve never done anything like that before, but if you have basic knowledge it’s doable. Now that I’ve done it I could probably get it done in a couple hours but I ended up having to tap into two wires only because I purchased the upgraded one with OEM remote start and also cell phone App Start. I can start it from anywhere in the world with my cell phone. It also has GPS locator that is on the app upgrade.

All in all, I love it. I purchased it because of winter time I can get it warmed up before I walk outside and also the main reason was because summertime in Louisiana is freaking ridiculous, if you know anything about southern heat then you know what I’m talking about. Now while I’m at work before I leave I can crank my car and that AC will be Kickin before I get in. I work on a tugboat and can’t reach my car that’s in the parking lot with my factory key fob so I have to use the App in order to crank it when I’m at work.
