Remote Start

Anyone know any company or products that can do a remote start for a 2013 G37 coupe...Is the CPU still integrated into the head unit?

Any remote start install place could do it. Most/all companies will have a system that works on the G. Mine is Compustar.

I'm guessing this only applies to auto trans vehicles.

The Fortin remote starter is great and integrates with the key fob. You press the lock button 3x and it'll start

Yep, as far as I know remote start usually only work with autos because they have a piece that connects to the brakes with but don't come with one for a clutch bypass

I had one in my manual car for years, just don't ever leave it in gear and you'll be fine.

When you remote start with the Fortin, does it turn on the AC/HEATER if you left it on? Or does it just start you car for you? I have a 2008 g37 coupe and have been looking into purchasing one. Also, about what is the range on it?

If you left it on, it will cut on when you start the car. I do that with my defroster during winter. The range on it is the same as the standard range for the key fob. I know there is a long range antenna that you can buy for it as well but that uses a different remote

Had my Compustar installed at an authorized dealer. Later upgraded the remote and antenna for better range and has been working great!

Great! I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine. I've had it on my 7th Gen Maxima and this G37 coupe and it feels like a must have thing now
