I updated the 2013 Nav system in 2017, and some things improved like phone integration etc. (In addition to minor map updates)

Does the latest/greatest (V11) Nav update offer any system improvements, or is it all just about the maps?

Anyone care to comment?

 

I just ordered the 2020 Nav update (Version 11). I'll know more when it arrives. I'll read through the literature that it comes with. Last update I did was 2018. That one updated the firmware. If it's anything like last time, the first DVD of the set is the firmware update. The next 4 DVDs are the map updates.

 

Anything exciting on the update? Mine is still the original version, my car is a 2013, and I’m thinking of getting the update later this year

 

I haven't noticed too much difference, not that I've done much driving lately. I wanted to wait to make sure the newer toll tunnel that replaced the viaduct was in the updated map. I noticed more of a difference going from version 9 from the original map. The previous owner never updated the nav system. It still had the 2013 original map set. Wasn't current for Vancouver BC or the floating bridges in Washington state.

 

Does V11 have the tunnel now?
