Nav buttons not working

2011 G37S. Recently noticed I have some buttons not working. Anything dealing with the nav is out, and the settings button as well. Radio and a/c are fine. Can't check the diagnostic because the settings button is needed. Do I just need to replace the button assembly? It's only $10-$20 from LKQ on eBay. Or perhaps the vents with the button assembly as a whole would be easier to swap, less disassembly? Mainly I need to know if either will correct my problem. I don't use the nav but I do like to access my maintenance reminders and fuel mileage settings.

You could try checking the ribbon cable that connects the NAV switch assembly to the HVAC/Radio switch panel. Could be as simple as a loose connection.

With anything there is no 100% guarantee that replacing the switch assembly will resolve your issue, though more than likely it will.

Ordered one from LKQ on eBay. Got a 90 day warranty. I'll find out this weekend.

Ordered the whole piece. Vents, trim and the buttons. Thought it would save a few steps. But my original trim and vents looked alot better than the replacement so I kept them. Problem is solved. Everything working again.
