Hello- there are a few used nav hardware sets on Ebay. My g37 has no nav. If I get a unit from Ebay is it a direct plug n play scenario ( thermostats, CD changer, control button panel and screen) or are there different cord assemblies for the various trim levels? Seems like I could install the nav but I was hoping someone had some info or tips. thanks!

 

There are plenty of threads about this subject. The search feature is your friend.

That said, it is not plug-and-play. At all. Existing harnesses have to be modified, wiring added, different connectors required, different video and USB cables needed, etc.

Just to add factory NAV? Not really worth the ordeal IMO. I did it for other reasons (BT, USB, DVD). I have no need for NAV (factory or otherwise) and most would agree that the factory system stinks.
