I have a 2015 Q40 without navigation. I was an iPhone guy but switched to the Samsung S10e last week. I tried connecting the Samsung to the car via the USB port and the car won't recognize it. There is no aux jack input that I am aware of in the car. Bluetooth in my model seems to only work for calls not other audio (podcasts, audiobooks, songs, etc.). The manual, while a bit vague, implies the car may only recognize Apple products (odd design choice).
Do I have any easy options to get the car to recognize the Samsung?
If there aren't easy fixes, what are my choices:
1. FM bluetooth transmitter
2. After market inputs (cost/options)
3. Get a new car
See my post ... the lame cable I got works but it's wonky and takes about 10min to setup ...I'm looking for a hack...
