Hello guys, after 2 years I've decided to post because I need help.

Ivr had this problem for almost 2 years and I cannot tell how much fuel I have as my fuel gauge needle indicates passed full. Before, it use to act weird but it would somewhat work but didnt seem calibrated.

I removed my fuel pump and cleaned the sensors and it seemed to work abit. Couple months down the road, the needle shows full all the time. I recently changed the fuel pump and had to return it because that didnt seem to be the problem. Not sure if it's the amplifier unit or cluster that I have to change. My mechanic did a test on my cluster to see if all needles work and they seemed to be fine. Can anyone please help me. I would greatly appreciate it.

The float is known to stick. Do a search and you'll find more than a few threads where people experience similar issues.

I removed the PCB, saw the faulty solder joint, and re-soldered the resistor.

It fixed the problem, and my gas gauge works again. Nice to have a working gas gauge again.
