Please help audio streaming

So I have a 2012 g37, and there is no way to stream my music through it. It has a USB port for iPod however , so I tried to plug in a lighting cable for my iPhone, and it said “there is no song”, but when my brother did it with the exact same phone, it worked. I was looking at some ways to fix this issue, and I stumbled upon a device called Bovee, it plugs into the usb and you connect your phone via Bluetooth. I have seen some people have success with it, but it was sold out. So is there a product similar to it, or is there any other way to stream my music in my car. Thank you

i don't iPhone, but i believe the "there is no song" thing means you need to download at least one song from the iTunes store and have it on your phone - then it will recognize it.

i'm sure iPhone guys will chime in ....

Yup. Have at least one song in your iTunes library. I deleted all mine and my Bovee would no longer display the artist/track. Added one back, all good.

Thumbs up

You guys/gals are awesome as usual. I just bought a 2012 G37 without Nav this past weekend. Drove it from Maryland to Florida and had Pandora working through the USB with my IPhone. Monday night I backed up my IPhone and on Tuesday Pandora wouldn't hook up. Was getting the "No song" message and it was driving me crazy. Saw this thread and realized on my last IPhone sync I decided to do music manually and so it removed the few songs on my IPhone. I just re-sync with automatic music and bingo. Went to the car and Pandora plays again!! Thanks for this thread.
