No, unfortunately I did not. I'm convinced there is an issue with the harness they sent me, and/or the CAN module. I haven't heard ANYTHING from Rhino Radios in the past month, so I initiated a PayPal dispute on 18 March. PayPal has attempted to contact them since then, but Rhino hasn't responded to anything. Just today, I initiated a formal claim for the refund via PayPal.

 

that is great that Rhino didn't answer Paypal, it will expedite your refund

 

Check out the Facebook "G37 Tesla Style Screen group"- sometimes people are selling harnesses as they received multiples (I personally sold a duplicate when I received my screen).

Good luck getting any response from Phoenix; their response time was terrible before the world fell into a pandemic.

I have the EXACT harness as this. Same model. 13.6 px6 8.1 32gb. I bought for a '13 sedan with bose, nav and backup cam. Apparently, they just sent the same base package? Did you say you were getting a replacement harness? Where is it coming from? From China? Not the reseller but the location where the harness is being shipped from.

EDIT: Meh, actually, on second look, it's slightly different than mine...

 

"Worst case", you get your money back and keep the product to do as you wish. I'm going to tinker around with it for a bit. If you don't mind, can you upload a pic of your harness as well?

Something interesting as well:
These 2 female plugs are remaining on the harness for 1 male plug from the car for me. Was this the case with yours?
A: If I plug into A, the car doesn't turn off but everything works except the backup cam
B: If I plug into B, the car does shut off but the hazards and climate control don't work. Backup cam didn't work either but I didn't double check if I connected it correctly as I was more focused on the car shutting off.

I think A is the correct plug since everything works, save the cam. BUT since the camera RCA is connected to plug B (see pic), I'm thinking the wiring is wrong and I either need to move those backup cam wires from B to A OR I missed a male plug inside the car. Gonna double check later. Definitely thinking we got the wrong harness at this point.


Additionally, something interesting I noticed. I just submitted a ticket that was numbered in the 9200s, today 4/2. My order number generated a ticket in the 7600s back on 3/9. Even if half that is from orders, that's guestimating 800 tickets for troubleshooting in the last 3 1/2 weeks. Not saying that's the case but something interesting. Not sure how big the company is but 800 tickets for 3 1/2 weeks is not nothing, perhaps that's why they haven't gotten back to you? Anyway, feel free to share any further info going forward, I'll do the same. Thanks.



Also, i know it would be a longshot for those that have it working INSIDE their rides but would anyone with a WORKING oem backup cam like to upload a pic of their harness for comparison purposes? Would be appreciated.

I just installed one of these in my 2010 g37x and now my shifter will not unlock I was wondering if anyone else has run into this issues and if there’s a specific connector that would affect the shifter lock that I could’ve left unplugged, anyway any helps appreciated, thanks

Hvac controls don’t work, shifter is stuck in park, and steering wheel controls don’t work
