Have anyone installed a 2010 navigation system into a 2009 ?
I wanted to install a 2010 nav system into my 2009 because I heard that the screen had better resolution and that was a fail lol. I install the screen and tried it to work nothing came up, not even the infiniti logo appeared on the screen? is it because I did not installed the radio box that came with it? the only problem is that the 2010 does not come with the little SD card that we have on the 2009.

It has been done. You will need to change out the whole head unit with the display and rewire some connectors. It is not plug and play. Search the forum and you will find a thread on someone swapping out the whole system. I think the back up camera also needed changing. The 2009 vs. 2010 display resolution are different. The headunit outputs a different signal.
