Hi, Here's my problem, My 2009 Fx35 Engine is blown, I have a wrecked 2010 G37 4x4 in the rear end. I was wondering if the g37 engine will easily fit into the Fx35 and what kind of mods are required. I'm also worried about the fitting of the Fx35 transmission on the g37 engine . Hope someone here already did it or know the anwsers. Thanks a lot

 

It should fit.. Surely if they can fit a 5.0 liter V8 in the FX50 the 3.7 will fit.

I think that the FX and G share the same transmissions.. but not sure...

 

if the 35 is an hr motor... then its direct swap if im not misatken

 

Yes, the 2009 FX35 engine is a VQ35HR.

The 2010 G37 engine is a VQ37VHR.

The only thing that might give you trouble is the ECU

 

How did you blow the engine on a 2009?
