So my key fob only works when I'm within 5 feet of the car and my car only starts when I have my doors closed. if my door is open it will not start at all. I tried looking it up through the forums and found nothing that was similar to my issue could it be the remote itself? It came out of nowhere 5 days after my key fob was rained on. And my key fob dies every 3 weeks. I cant lock the for unless im really close. I don't mind going to dealership nut I like to figure **** out myself

 

Use your other fob and see if it does same then if it does it's the controller in the car
