Yeah it should work fine and the music will show up as long as you limit the number of folders/follow the car's manual on the file structure limits (i.e. I think theres a maximum depth of folders)

I have a 2008 G37S as well and have never noticed a card reader slot before...did I just completely miss it??

It may have only been with those that came with the tech package

Do you have navigation if not you may not actually have it
