Engine bay 12v switched access

Newbie to forum! I recently became owner of 2012 G37 Coupe. Installing LED DRLs and having difficulty finding 12v switched power source. Haven't been able to find an easy way to get through firewall to fuse panel, so I am looking for a source in engine bay. The IPDM is extremely hard to remove so I was hoping to be able to tap a wire in the engine bay, but don't know which one is best.
Any advice appreciated!

I would run it into the cabin, Its pretty easy to run a wire through the firewall, this way you can also add a kill switch inside the cabin. If you go with a fuse/wire in the engine bay, grab a multimeter and poke around with the car off and on until you find a wire or fuse that behaves the way you ware wanting it too.
