Oh wow that is interesting. I know most Euro cars (BMW, MB, Audi) don't have touch screen nav (and for good reason) but Japanese and American cars do. I actually forget mine is touch screenbut I am in the German car segment where I do not want fingerprints all over my LCD!

I also noticed i dont have drivers audio stage option in my sound menu ? I am not sure if thats is standard option when you have Bose speakers. I see a speaker on the dash on top of my nav screen. Do you bose members have 2 or 1 sub in the trunk ?

Bose has two subs (1 in each front door) and one on the rear deck. It will also say BOSE on the front door speaker cover.

This is most likely a difference in countries. That is why you do not have what we have.

As you have front parking sensors and folding mirrors we in the USA would like, we might have other things you do not.

I have the drive audio option on my Bose, I am in the USA though. Plus that option actually hurts the sound quality

That is the older menu, found on cars till 2009. Luck's similar to my Nissan Primera AV menu.
The versions after 2009-2010 have touchscreen, higher resoluyion display, hdd navigation and completely different menu.

The front and rear parking sensors, also headlight washers are standard on EU version.
Also the amber back turn signal lamps.

I still find iT strange that for example i dont see fuel consumption in the nav screen. Not any comf. Settings. Searched a bit on internet further. Found that when replacing the Av unit triggers this same issue. Something has to do with the consult software to load the accessory config onto the nav unit. You can reproduce this by cold resetting the nav unit with the secret menu. I think this happend with my car when the battery was replaced or something.

I just had the same issue, was testing different navi units and now the fuel consumption and speaker is gone (no volume).

Any idea how to cold resetting the navi unit with the secret menu?
