Hey guys, first post don't eat me alive.

I have a 2008 g37 sport coupe. The cd player and Compact Flash reader has not been working since i got the car (used).

I can insert and eject the cd but cannot enter the CD menu. There are no errors either... Same when i enter a Compact Flash card...

any thoughts?

 

I completely forgot this car had a CD player lol.. No idea man, maybe get one of those old cd player lens cleaner kits and try that? Try another CD as well?

 

They are just poorly made units, the only thing that ever broke on my previous ride was bose 6 disc changer. I've never even used it on my current G37 but I remember there was an exchange program where you could trade your broken unit with the disc changer for a remanufactured working one plus cash.

Reset and they will work, I had the same issue when I got my car used.
