I purchased a 2009 g37x with 88k miles last week on CL. Car has clean title, no accidents. Car runs good,but has some minor electrical headaches. The lady I bought it from is clueless, she sold it to me because she needed money for a new suv.

1. Back up camera is totally black but shows the check your surroundings warning, reverse lights work. No trajectory on the screen either. Did the hidden menu trick and I also check for the connections on the trunk. All connected what could it be?





2. When I purchased this car I noticed a partial part of my rpm guages where it shows 5k-6k to be lightly dim and out of nowhere driving it for awhile it will be fully lit. Once I flick my light switches, it will be dim again.
is this a fuse issue?

3. My license plate lights do not work at all, its ironic how both of them are not working can't be the bulbs, is this another fuse issue? If it its where is the fuse located I know there are 3 fuse boxes. All tailights and trunk door button works. I need to get this fix,because I live in Arizona and cops here are douches if they see my plates are not lit up.

4. Driver side passenger doors do not lock from the master switch or the keyfob. Windows do roll down from the master switch and its own switch,but doors won't lock.


5. Is it normal for this car not be so responsive? I feel there is a huge lag on the gas pedal like tapping on it, it takes time to pick up speed. Feels like 1st gear is very unresponsive but once the car picks up to 2nd gear it goes. Or I have really step on the gas to get a good pick up. Or on a roll when i step on the gas, there is like a delay when the car downshifts, its so weird. My older g35x wasn't like this, it responds right away when pressing on the gas on any level.


If anyone can help me out please do so with any information. This is my first time owning a g37 and I love it so far.

 

How do you know it wasn't in a accident? Was a carfax or auto check provided?
