The middle button left of the wheel in-front of the infotainment display will cycle through to it. You will get their info channel only.

Have you pressed aux more than once? It should cycle through to XM.

yeah i've pushed it a million times.. theres only one wire from what I can feel plugged into the receiver unit in the trunk.. I'm assuming it's the antenna, and reading some other threads it might just be unplugged and the harness tucked away. I'll let you guys know, when I check tommorow.

Pull the power to the box and see if it resets, Kentucky resets...Maybe pull the negative off the battery. Other than that its time to go to the $tealer?

Check the wiring harnesses, there should be two if I remember right. Plus, you can access the diagnostic menu on the headunit to see if they're connected or if there is a problem in the CANBUS.

I wouldn't take it to the dealer unless you want SAT radio. Then you would have to open a subscription for service, which is a waste of money IMO.

Unless you like the comedy or talk channels, XM audio quality sounds like ****.

XM sound quality is terrible.

I forget the site but I read that the talk stations are the equivalent of 92kbps. The audio channels are 128K and 192K max.

No where near the "near CD quality" they originally promoted

Probably lower than that! I've heard it's only 64kbps. Don't really know. But, for some reason it sounds like crap in our cars. I'm sticking with spotify!!!!

Well I do have xm in my base, for some reason it was never cut away from the wireloom that it was taped to. This is odd that when they sold the car originally they never hooked it up for the first owner... I'm happy.

Plug the connectors in (the SAT module has 2 (the little pink one is the SAT antenna on the roof) the TEL module has 3), turn the car on and press the AM/FM button to cycle to SAT radio. If it comes on you can call XM (or go online) to get the free 90 day trial subscription. The novelty will likely wear off before then once you experience the poor audio quality, spotty reception, and overly repetitive programming but then again you might be one who actually enjoys the option.

Still, congrats and good luck.
