What is a way to get an iphone 6 working hands free with a microphone in a 2009 with a base stereo. Now I did say hands free, and not necessarily bluetooth. If it must be bluetooth that would be fine as well, however i don't think the 2009 with a base stereo does bluetooth so I am perfectly happy to plug in my iphone to a cable.

I have seen it mentioned here using a couple aftermarket parts but the threads are old and no one ever went into any detail about how they got the microphone to work or where to connect the microphone to.

But he didn't mention how he did the hands free microphone.

 

The G has bluetooth which is "Handsfree". Hit the button on the steering wheel that has a phone Icon and follow the prompts.

If you want bluetooth streaming or anything else then you will need to do custom work but you have Handsfree already.
