Hey friends, I've just (finally) gotten around to purchasing my first Infiniti. Previous Nissan owner (still have my X).

Anyway, it's a 2009 G37X Sedan with nav. I'd like to use my phone to listen to music while I drive, so I bought this:

As you know, and I quickly learned, the RCA input is only enabled while the vehicle is parked with the brake on.

Before I buy another adapter, I'd like to lean on the collective expertise here.

will this adaptor work for what I want?

Or is it backwards? do I need iPod male to 3.5?
