Odometer display's pixels broken

Hi guys, I have 2008 G37 Coupe and yesterday I found the odometer display in the conditions shown in the photo above. Does anybody experience the same issue? Any hint on how to fix it and how much could the repair cost?
Many thanks in advance.

This isn't a "fix" for your current one but I can tell you that you can switch a display from another G37 cluster over without any harm (if your comfortable in doing that). It will not change your mileage or anything. I swapped the newer white/blue display over to my 2009 shortly after I purchased it because I'm not a fan of red. I just made sure it was from the same tranny model type and same tech package. I am not sure if you have the 5 or 7 speed tranny, and again am not sure if that makes a difference but I thought I would throw it out there as a option.

That might be an option even though I have no idea on how to do it myself. How much did you spend for it?

I just got the cheapest gauge cluster I could find on eBay that fit the needs. It was like $75 if I recall. I did it when I installed my paddle shifters so it made it alittle more easy and productive. You will need to take your neddles of your gauges if you go that route, not something a lot of people like doing, just fyi. You might find a custom shop that will do it, but labor might be high.

You should be able to just swap the screen over, you can change the led color while you are at it too by swapping the LEDs that provide the backlight.

I have my pics on here somewhere from my EX35 which uses the same cluster.
