2008 G37s / Maxima 18" Tires

I've been browsing all day trying to find the answer to this and the only thread I found on the forum was about Maxima 19" rims / tires.

Anyhow, just bought a G37s and the tires and rims that were sold don't fit (they are off a G35 but don't fit over the sport callipers as I'm sure you know). So, I found a set of Maxima 18" rims on kijiji (Cdn craigslist) and wanted to verify they would fit.

The tires are 245/45R18 and the tires are 8x18 with a 35mm offset. I know the bolt pattern fits but wanted to confirm the rim will fit over the calliper without doing a test fit. Buying rims secondhand means the seller may not take them back. :/ If anyone had a quick answer that would be great, if I have to test fit, I'll do it, I would just prefer not to.

Thanks!

Being only 8" wide it's doubtful that they'll clear. But since it's a local deal I'd just test fit, time well spent IMO or use the templates

You are indeed correct. For future reference 18" maxima wheels do fit width wise bit don't clear width wise. :/ Looking into spacers tomorrow but not sure that's even wise, will talk to the local tire shop tomorrow to see what they say.

Thanks for your reply.
