Stereo quit after hooking up sub/amp

Ok so after searching on this site I decided I could successfully install my sub's and amp. I bought a LOC as well, wired it into the rear speakers, alas nothing. After searching more I found a thread saying thats a horrible place to do it at. So I went after the Bose amp (b41) wired my LOC into that, still nothing and now my amp won't turn on. So I fiddled with it some more, went to test it, and now the stock navi/head unit won't even turn on. All fuses look fine. AC turns on, but the screen doesnt work???? What'd I do wrong??? I'll get to the sub/amp later, now I'm worried I screwed up the whole Bose system -_-

Oh meant to add, its a 09 g37s coupe. Don't know if that makes a difference. This is my first time wiring into a stock unit. Usually I just get a vehicle and replace EVERYTHING, but the head unit in this car seemed like it controls way too much to replace it all.

Try disconnecting anything you installed thats not factory.

Unplug the battery for 10-15 min to reset the headunit and other electronics.
Re-connect the battery.

Let us know if you get any power then.
If not, this car sometimes has weird parts fused together.
Might even check the mirror fuse and all other fuses.

Ok so thats weird, it was a blower fuse? Odd but the stereo works again! Didn't think to check those lol. Well back to the drawing board on the sub and amp!

You should really use
this this
instead of a LOC. Use that and tap into the Bose connection. Depending on your amp, you may need to run the remote wire from the display ACC wire instead of the Bose amp. In my case I have a Rockford Fosgate, the ACC wire for the Bose amp didn't work for me bc it only has 10v. RF is picky and needs > 12 from what I've learned.
