2015 Maps
Updated to the 2015 maps couple days ago. I have a 2010 model. Didn't have to keep the engine running as I have the battery hooked up to a trickle charger during the update, which took about 90 mins.
I can't comment on the new roads, since there aren't that many I know of in my area. I am pretty disappointed in the POIs though. Some gas stations that no longer exist, still appeared on the map. A couple Chase banks that were open a year ago, don't exist in the POI database. There might be some new navigation setting items, but I never pay too much attention since I got the car, so I am not sure.
Overall I probably won't do this again. But if you live in an area with lots of new roads, I think it will be worth it.

Haven't really driven it enough yet to notice any notable differences. The Disk 0 appears to be a system software update, though I'm not sure what functionality it may add, or fix. It does appear to now detect my neighbor's quarter-mile-long, at least, driveway as a "street".
I emailed them for the tracking info, and they got back to me a few days later. The discs arrived the same day. Took about a week (never received any automated tracking info).
Note that the update process takes roughly 2 hours from start to finish and you cannot stop in the middle and restart, so keep that in mind.
There are two things you will update, the application and the map database.
For me, the Application finished, then required me to install again (as described in the instructions, which were good). The second time through was a little scary as it seem to be stuck at the 25% mark for close to a half hour. However, it ended up installing ok once it passed this point.
Note that there is a 1-800 number you can call if you run into trouble (hours are based on EST).

I just logged onto the Navi Update site and now it looks like the special price has been extended to June 30th, 2015. I still can't decide if it is worth it or not.
Save $50 off the regular price of $179! This special offer of $129 is only available through June 30, 2015. Order today!

$99 + tax for 2008 model. Dealer charged $130 to install so about $235 total. Not cheap but it finally shows some of the newer roads in my area.

I am relatively new to this forum and wanted to share my experience as I just completed the 2015 update on my 2011 sedan. Discs arrived today about 7 days after I made the purchase. It took approximately 1.5 hours, but absolutely nothing has changed on the maps. The install went smoothly, I received no error messages etc. Someone mentioned it pausing around the 25% mark, same happened to me, before proceeding. Not happy with purchase.
Scozz, what were you expecting? You have experienced maybe 1% of the area covered so far. Not everything changes annually. If you turn on icons you will see the POI are up to date compared to your last map. I find it comforting knowing I will be on the correct route when taking a long trip in unfamiliar areas.

I did the update in my 2011 over the weekend. All the new roads in my area are there and a highway whose route was moved are updated. New POI's are also there. Installation was simple took about 90 minuets. Overall i am happy with the purchase. I know that Google maps will always have more up to date info and is more intuitive but I prefer using the built in nav on a trip.
I did the map update for my wife's Sorento at the same time, hers came on a USB stick and took about an hour.
