Every month or two I start 12Vert and display is off but audio works, Restart corrects this, No way to dup for dealer, Has anyone else had this? Fix?

 

Not exactly the same thing, but I have had the display function but not have any control of it at all. At start up the radio was on where I left it but I can't control volume or change station, can't turn it off, can't control HVAC, etc. Weird. Restarting the car made no difference. However after about 10 minutes driving the car, it reset itself (Infiniti splash screen) and all control functionality was back. This happened twice in about 3 or 4 weeks time and has never repeated. I did not take it in nor find the cause of it.

In your case probably the only way to get any help from a service department would be to take it in immediately when it happens so they can see it for themselves, but of course it never happens at a time when you are able to take it in. Like on your way to work or out of town.
