Odd display issue

When I started the car this morning, the radio played on the station I left it on yesterday and the heater was blowing as I left it yesterday. However, the display screen showed Audio Off and Climate Control Off, and using the controls on the steering wheel or the console itself did not change the audio or climate control functions. I turned the car off and on a couple of times and nothing changed. Unfortunately I didn't think to get a photo or video of this because I was on my way in to work early this morning. About 10 or 15 minutes into my morning commute, The screen reset itself with the Infiniti splash screen that normally displays on start up and the display anbd all the control functionality was back to normal. Radio and AC controls worked again normally. Presets exactly as before. There was nothing out of the ordinary, it is cold (by Texas standards) but not cold enough to affect any electronics. Mid 40's F.

Anyone else have a similar experience or knowledge of what causes behavior like this?

BB, check the “secret” diagnostics from the nav screen to see if any errors codes popped up from there.

I haven't had any experience yet in mine, however I had a Pioneer deck in my Maxima that had this issue. We absolutely don't have the extreme weather to cause a lot of electronic issues, however I think it still is enough for it screw it up. Has it done it again since then?

I get issues similiar to this from time to time. Some days starting the car, the radio/ac comes on/off as I have left it on the previous drive but I do not have controls over any of the buttons. Some days the ac is set at the highest temp (hot). Some days my speakers have no sound etc...restarting the car always usually fixes the issue. Well the ac at highest temp i can just turn the temp down when that happens.

No idea what the hell is wrong though

Nope. No explanation, no recurrence.
