2010 G37X Dual Zone Climate Issue

Hi all, new to the forum. I purchased a 2010 G37X back in March and have finally come to the conclusion that there may be an issue with my G37X Climate control Dual zone system. In this car, if I set it to dual and set the temps at 65 on driver and 75 on the other, its blowing the same cold air on both sides, same speed, with the setting on auto or manual. Now if I set the temp to 60 & the other to 90, then dual zone works. I have a rental Chevy Impala that works a dual zone as it should and my 2004 Acura TSX operated the same as the Impala, if I set the temps on auto at 65 & 75, I get 2 different speeds of fan and 2 different temperatures.

I guess my question is, does your car sound more like my G37 or more like other cars? I have an appointment with Infiniti tomorrow but from the phone call, he tried to say that this was normal and that to test with the 60 / 90 setting but to me, thats not true dual zone. Any feedback you can give before tomorrow morning would help a lot

Thanks

Solution: Trade in the G37 for the Impala. lol

I went to my car (13 Coupe) and at 65/75 there was NOT a noticeable difference in temperature or fan speed. At about 65/80 I could notice a difference (temp. not fan speed). I think the key thing is not to get too hung up on what "temperature" it says and more so on how it feels. At least you are able to get a graded difference in temperature from side to side. I find myself driving with the AC on 80 a lot because otherwise it is absolutely freezing. I know it's not 80 degrees in the car, but it feels good and everything is working, so I don't worry about it.
